No age barrier

No age barrier

First of all, we don't believe that children must always play with other children of exactly their own age group. This is because we all know that children develop differently, have different skills and talent sets.

So, a small unskilled 10-year-old will struggle, or won't even get in the team, with a group of his peers. So why not give them a chance to play with people younger than him or her?

Conversely, why should a talented, older than their years, child be forced to play only with his or her own age group? We believe that children will develop quicker and gain more enjoyment, from playing with players of their own skill-set, not age group.

So we've developed a new divisional system for every one of our leagues which means the oldest age range (13 to 15-year-olds) will be in the top division (the Premier league), 11-13 year-olds will be in the next one down (the Championship) and 9-11  will be in Division 1, the third tier, with a fourth division for the youngest.

But we are not going to limit teams to that division. A team of 10 to 12-year-olds, if they get promoted, can play in the next division up if they want to.

We not going to be obsessive about ages, either. If a child wants to play with a lower age range team, or a higher age range team, they can.

Let's give every child the chance. Not just the oldest or the most talented.
