- Can My Team Be Promoted Or Relegated
- Yes. Everyone should be able to enjoy their match and play against a similar standard of player
- What Sort Of Kit Do We Need?
- We know kit is expensive, so all we ask is you were the same colour (the match official will have bibs too)
- What Do We Win If The Team Wins?
- Your team will be entered into the Prize Draw where you will be able to win some amazing prizes. You can get trophies if you'd prefer, but the gamble will be worth it
- Do We Need To Travel To A New Venue Every Week?
- No. You'll play at the same place every week.
- Do We Play Different Teams Every Week?
- Everyone will play each other twice during the course of the season
Parents
- Do I Need To Be Present While My Child Plays?
- That is your choice, but no, we do not require it
- Are All The Referees And Officials DBS Checked?
- Yes. All the adults involved in the evenings have full DBS checks
- Can My Daughter Play?
- Yes, absolutely, it is vital that these leagues are available for everyone to enjoy
- Will my child need expensive equipment?
- No. The idea of these leagues is to give everyone an opportunity to play
- How will we be notified if a match is cancelled
- This is extremely rare and would usually only happen in cases of bad weather, but we will call each team captain to inform them
- Is This A Training Opportunity For My Child
- No, it is not a football coaching opportunity. It is a way for your child to be involved in football, either playing, helping to officiate, or refereeing
- Is This Term Time Only?
- That will vary depending on the venue's availability, but our intention would be to run all year round as much as we can
- How Do You Guarantee Good Conduct?
- Simple. We are part of the Leisure Leagues group which is the benchmark for discipline in community sport. We will remove any player/team that fails to meet our high standards.
- My child has physical or mental challenges, can they still play?
- It is absolutely our intention that all children are welcome. We have staff at Junior Leagues with physical challenges themselves who know the power of sport.
- Are The Leagues Insured
- Yes, the leagues are covered by full Public Liability Insurance up to £5m
